*A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required to book ALL appointments. The $50 goes towards the cost of your appointment and will be taken off your total after your service upon checkout. Should you need to change your appointment time prior to 48 hours before appointment, your booking fee does not need to be repaid and can be carried over to your new day/time. Should you decide you no longer want the appointment at all, the $50 will NOT be refunded for new client cancellations. This is to limit bookings to serious clients only.
*For new extension clients booking an appointment that requires purchase of hair, a $500 non-refundable booking fee is required. This ensures the stylist can order the hair needed for the install and reserve the hours needed for a full install. Should you need to change your appointment time prior to 48 hours before appointment, your booking fee does not need to be repaid and can be carried over to your new day/time. Should you decide you no longer want the appointment at all, the $500 will NOT be refunded for new client cancellations. This is to limit bookings to serious clients only. If a large quantity of hair is needed for a new install, and it requires preparation prior to the appointment an additional cost to cover the hair may be required to cover the full cost of hair. The hair after being prepped will not be exchange or returnable for the stylist therefor needs to be covered in full before tampered with.
*Changes to your appointment MUST be made at least 48 hours prior to appointment time to avoid late cancellation or no-show fees. Changes can me made online or by text. Please double check if changes are made online that you did so correctly, as the stylist cannot be held responsible for schedule changes made incorrectly unless contacted via text to make the change for you. You will receive two confirmations prior to your appointment giving you plenty of time should you need to make any changes.
*Late cancellations giving stylist less than 48 hours to fill your spot and compensate for their time are subject to be charged 50% of the total service estimate given during the consultation while a no-show is subject to 100% charge of the total service estimate. If a client exceeds being 15 minutes late, they may take the appointment but may lose the opportunity additional styling if the time runs into the stylist next appointment. If a client exceeds being 30 minutes late and the stylist no longer has sufficient time to complete the service as planned, this may be considered a no-show and the stylist reserves the right to charge for the appointment and rebook client for a time when the service can be completed.
*As a courtesy in the event of emergency, the stylist will allow a first time late cancellation or no-show fee to be rolled over to a new appointment time and date. This does not apply to each appointment, but ONE time per client. While Jax Manes Hair Co. completely understands life happens and things come up, it is essential for the stylists time to be accounted for in order to be able to continue providing you with quality service and run an efficient business. The stylist cannot be held responsible for reoccurring misfortunes that come up in clients lives. If the stylist has no issue with a time change or it works out to where does not interfere with their scheduling, it is up to the stylists discretion to inform the client how they will move forward in accommodating their next appointment after the incident occurs, and how the fee will be applied if any.
